It was November, and we were racing against the weather to get the workshop foundation completed. My high hopes of completing the metal shop so we could store our trailer over the winter had evaporated along with the dropping temperatures. But at least we could get the foundation complete ready for construction in the Spring. Our first introduction to a major construction project, well major for us given our complete inexperience, it was a roller coaster of challenge after challenge.
